In 2019, University of Melbourne engaged the market for AV Collaboration Services for Staff Meeting Spaces. The University identified deficiencies in both the capacity and delivery of their existing AV services. This engagement was meant to “uplift its collaboration solutions for staff meeting spaces around the Parkville Campus and other regional sites.”
Citadel Edge was tasked with managing the support for the fleet of Crestron Flex Zoom/Teams rooms at the University and that number stands at over 586 spaces as of today.
Time and again we were able to scale up the workforce to ensure successful completion of the project on time, under budget with no functional defects.
Key projects completed:
Tranche 11
The primary objective of University of Melbourne (UoM) with Tranche 11 is to uplift the AV (Audiovisual) equipment and design to enhance teaching environments in Flexible Learning Spaces (FLS), Lecture Theatres, and Collaborative Learning Spaces (CLS).
Our proposed solution involves collaborating with UoM to deliver tailored AV solutions that uplift teaching environments and enables effective teaching and learning experiences in FLS, Lecture Theatres, and CLS.
Tranche 7
Citadel Edge was awarded the Tranche 7 package of works that entailed the transformation of 14 teaching spaces.
Each space was to be made suitable for hybrid teaching and learning, requiring several AV endpoint interactions to be introduced via computer and touch panels.
Through the works completed on this Tranche, we provided UoM with access to an AV system that enabled staff and students to collaborate synchronously with in room and remote participants via video conferencing platform operated from the in-room PC.
