Overview

The Department of Finance’s Information Delivery Platform (IDP) represents a major modernisation of the Department’s data warehousing and visualisation capabilities. Spanning needs analysis to successful implementation, the project centralised AusTender and GrantConnect data into a flexible, scalable platform.

Citadel Edge collaborated with the Department of Finance to design and deliver a secure, AWS-hosted platform leveraging Matillion ETL and Snowflake for data transformation and warehousing, with Tableau for data visualisation. This enabled real-time insights, reduced reporting overheads, and established a foundation for future AI/ML capabilities.

The IDP provided self-service analytics, governance, and data lineage, achieving IRAP accreditation and delivering transparency across Government. The platform continues to evolve, supporting modern data strategies for the Department.
